Samuel Houri has had a diverse career in data and finance. Samuel began their career in 2012 as a Plan Budget Résultat at GIE AXA. In 2013, they worked as a Financial Optimization & Decision Support at Restaurant Meat'in. In 2014, they worked as a Data Analyst at Swoon Editions and a Data Scientist at PwC. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Manager - Lead Data Science and Senior Data Scientist at Artefact. In 2020, they founded parnesse.com, a turnkey set of technological tools to help French charity organizations to digitize their fundraising. Currently, they are the Director - Head of Data & AI at Nova Consulting, a strategy consulting boutique focused on return on investment analysis and optimization in highly emotion-steeped industries.
Samuel Houri obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur / Master of Science (MS) in Sciences informatiques et de l'information et services apparentés from Centrale Lille between 2011 and 2014. Prior to this, they obtained an Honors degree in Applied mathematics and social sciences from University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne between 2008 and 2011. Additionally, they obtained a Professional Data Engineer certification from Google Cloud Platform Certified in April 2018 and a DSS certification from Dataiku in February 2017.
