Colin Walker is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in renewable energy and power systems. Currently serving as the Lead Electrical Engineer for Tidal at Nova Innovation since May 2017, Colin is responsible for the design and development of tidal energy converters, overseeing the entire life cycle from design through manufacturing to testing and data analysis for efficiency improvements. Prior experience includes roles as an Electrical Engineer at Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning Systems Europe Ltd., focusing on manufacturing processes for air conditioning units, and as a Graduate Electrical Engineer at ScottishPower, where Colin gained experience in various power generation technologies. Colin's career commenced with a placement at Cummins Generator Technologies, working on electromagnetic design for generators, contributing to research for a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering earned from The University of Edinburgh.
