Dan Scarrow, CIP has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dan began their career in 2004 as a Security Officer at OLG, where they protected assets and employees at the Slots at Flamboro Downs Casino. Dan also worked as a shift investigator, compiling reports for the OPP when necessary. In 2008, they joined Kingsway Financial Services Inc. as a Personal Lines Underwriter. Dan then worked at Ford And Chambers Insurance as a Personal Lines Broker/CSR from October 2009 to March 2010. From 2010 to 2021, they had various roles at Gore Mutual Insurance, including Business Analyst, Personal Lines Underwriter, Business Analyst II, Associate Test Automation Engineer, and Release And Environment Analyst. Currently, they are employed as a Business Analyst at Nova Mutual Insurance Company, starting in December 2021. Their roles have involved tasks such as process new and renewal applications, negotiate terms with brokers, and protect assets and individuals in different capacities.

Dan Scarrow, CIP, has a diploma in Insurance from Mohawk College, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. In addition, they hold a diploma in Police Foundations from the same institution, acquired from 2002 to 2004. Dan Scarrow also completed a Certificate in Management Essentials at the University of New Brunswick from 2019 to 2022. Furthermore, they obtained the CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) certification in May 2015.
