Iain Rushmere

Iain (Jude) Rushmere serves as the Board Chair at Syos Aerospace since February 2024 and as the General Manager for Nova Systems New Zealand since December 2019, where responsibilities include managing engineering and management services for complex projects. Prior experience includes leadership roles at The Vintage Aviator, managing health and safety, manufacturing, and production management, and significant project management positions with the New Zealand Defence Force overseeing multi-billion dollar capabilities. Rushmere's career began in the Royal Air Force, where roles spanned various management and engineering positions, culminating in comprehensive oversight of radar and communications operations. Educational qualifications include a BEng (Hons) in Electrical Engineering with Management from Cranfield University and further studies at various institutions. Additionally, experience includes competing as an athlete on the British Snowboard Cross Team.
