Joseph O'Connell

Joseph O'Connell is an experienced geospatial professional currently serving as Geospatial Technical Lead at Nova Systems since February 2022. Previously, Joseph held the same title at Geoplex from March 2013 to February 2022, and worked as a Senior Geospatial Engineer during that time. Joseph's career began at VicRoads between January 2007 and February 2013, where roles included Team Leader Spatial Systems, Senior Spatial Consultant, and Spatial Consultant. Joseph's early experience includes a position as Spatial Information Officer at Geomatic Technologies and as Survey Assistant at AC Surveys. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Geomatic Engineering, Geographic Information Science and Cartography, and a Bachelor of Science in Geography, both from the University of Melbourne, completed in 2006.
