Lewis Messick

Lewis Messick is an experienced aviation professional with a diverse background in military and instructional roles. Currently serving as a C-130J Pilot Instructor at Nova Technologies since July 2022, Lewis trains future generations of Combat Airlifters. Prior roles include C-130J Evaluator Pilot and various leadership positions in the United States Air Force, where responsibilities encompassed aircrew scheduling, operations, and tactics. Lewis also served as a Special Missions Captain at Berry Aviation, providing critical airlift and evacuation services to US Special Operations Forces in Africa. Notable experience includes roles in test evaluation at Lockheed Martin and the development of major command policies for C-130J aircrews. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master of Science in Military Operational Art and Science from the USAF Air Command and Staff College.
