Daniel Appleby

Daniel Appleby, CFA, is currently the Chief Operating Officer and a founding team member at Summatic since October 2021, and serves on the Board of Directors at School.How from July 2024. As a founding member of Nova Talent since April 2020, Daniel has contributed to building a merit-based network for over 20,000 top performers. Previous roles include positions at Lloyds Banking Group in Fixed Income Sales & Trading, a managerial role at Monzo Bank, and project management with York Community Consulting. Daniel began a career in finance as a Junior Rates Trader intern at Lloyds Banking Group and has experience as an Economist and Senior Author for The Market Mogul. Daniel co-founded Fuelling the Future and completed internships focused on market risk and fixed income securities. Academic credentials include an MBA from IESE Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from University of York with a year at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
