Diego Mallada Conte

Diego Mallada Conte serves as the IT Digital Tech CTO at GESTAMP since October 2013, where responsibilities include defining IT technical strategy in Big Data and IoT, launching a global software framework for the Smart Factory, and developing a software components strategy focused on code reuse. In addition to this role, Diego is a lecturer for the Master Executive Big Data & AI at IE Business School and has held the position of VP Digital Advisor at IndesIA since March 2022, contributing to the design of a Big Data and AI platform and creating an industrial AI framework. Diego's extensive involvement in academia includes teaching at Universidad de Navarra and Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI-ICADE, alongside active memberships in various professional organizations such as Hyperledger and the IEEE Computer Society. Educational background features degrees from prestigious institutions, including MIT Sloan and IE Business School, with continued studies in entrepreneurship, computer science, and emerging technologies.
