Emma Wiesner

Emma Wiesner is an accomplished political figure currently serving as a Member of the European Parliament since February 2021, representing the Renew Europe group and holding positions on several committees, including full membership in the Environment Committee. Wiesner has been involved as a shadow rapporteur on critical issues such as the EU Emission Trading Scheme and the Carbon Removal Certification Framework, while also leading efforts related to the European Protein Strategy as a rapporteur. In addition to parliamentary duties, Wiesner is a current member of the Advisory Council at Energimarknadsinspektionen and has participated in the Nova Talent network since 2015. Previous roles include Vice President at both Kraftkvinnorna and EUFORES, and Public Affairs Manager at Northvolt, where responsibilities encompassed European relations and sustainability affairs. Wiesner holds a Master of Science in Energy Systems Engineering from Uppsala University.
