Marco Colocrese

Marco Colocrese is currently a PhD candidate in the Networked Systems research group at Delft University of Technology and an Industrial PhD core network specialist focused on 6G research at VodafoneZiggo. With a background as a core network engineer at Huawei Deutschland and research assistant at the University of Illinois Chicago, Marco has developed expertise in federated learning and AI deployment on resource-constrained edge devices. In addition to academic roles, Marco is actively involved in IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu, contributing to the Mu Nu Chapter and supporting first-year students at Politecnico di Torino as a graduate teaching assistant. Marco holds multiple degrees in computer engineering and telecommunications engineering, with a Master's degree from both the University of Illinois Chicago and Politecnico di Torino.
