Michael John Schlater

Michael John Schlater, Sr. serves as the Vice-President of Continuous Improvement at NovaLink Inc., responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives across all Product Material Lines and developing customized optimization strategies for customers. Prior to this role, Michael held several key positions at Aptiv from 2013 to 2023, including ASUX North America Regional PC&L Process Manager, where a significant focus was placed on enhancing material and cost performance. Throughout a career at Delphi from 1989 to 2013, Michael managed various projects and teams aimed at cost reduction and operational efficiency, receiving recognition for implementing best practices in global strategic planning. Michael holds a BSEE in Electrical Engineering and an MSMM in Manufacturing Management from Kettering University, as well as a Mathematics degree from the University of Texas at Brownsville, where Michael also served as an adjunct faculty member.
