Shane Cox

Shane Cox is an accomplished R&D and Operations Manager at Novalith since July 2024, with a parallel role as Technical Advisor and Managing Director at Membrane Works since November 2016. Previously, Shane held positions as Head of Product and Engineering at Rux Energy from August 2023 to July 2024 and as Head of Operations and Research Engineering & Design Lead at Scimita Ventures from August 2019 to February 2023. Shane's entrepreneurial background includes founding and serving as CEO of Instrument Works from July 2012 to August 2019. Academic contributions include a position as eResearch Specialist at UNSW Australia and a Senior Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of New South Wales. Shane has also participated as a Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program and presided over the UNSW Football Club. Educational qualifications include a PhD and a BE in Chemical Engineering from UNSW.
