Alon Barel

Alon Barel currently serves as the Chief Business Officer at Nova Ltd. since April 2024, where responsibilities include leading global Sales, Service, and Application functions with oversight of over 550 professionals and more than $600M in revenue. Prior experience includes a role as VP Corporate Business Development at SolarEdge Technologies from September 2019 to April 2024, where Alon was integral to strategic accounts and technology partnerships. Within SolarEdge, Alon also held positions as VP Global Sales and VP & General Manager of New Businesses, leading various initiatives in the solar market. Previously, Alon was VP Sales EMEA and APAC at Indegy, which was acquired by Tenable after Alon helped build strong sales organizations in those regions. Earlier career achievements at SolarEdge included leadership of teams across Europe and successfully launching operations in the Netherlands. Alon began in the defense sector as a System Engineer with Elbit Systems and further developed skills in sales and engineering at Aeronautics and Safend. Alon holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
