Or Arad

Or Arad is an accomplished R&D Optics Engineer at Nova Ltd. since June 2022, focusing on the optical path development of semiconductor metrology tools and leading projects such as the high-end Raman spectrometer for Elipson. Prior experience includes serving as an Electro-Optical Simulations Engineer at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and co-founding FlyFree, where Or developed core technology for illumination and monitoring modules, winning the 2020 Technion BizTec accelerator. Earlier roles at the Volcani Institute involved leading the development of remote sensing devices and designing opto-mechanical components for agricultural sensing instruments. Or holds a Master of Science in Electro-Optical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
