Robert Buckley

Robert Buckley is the current Chief Financial Officer at Novanta. Robert has over two decades of experience in finance, corporate development, and investor relations.

Buckley began their career at Georgeson in 1996 as an Investor Relations Manager. Robert then moved to Honeywell in 1998 where they served as Manager of Corporate Development. In this role, they were responsible for providing financial analysis, business support, and process ownership for acquisitions and divestitures activities.

In 2001, Buckley joined PerkinElmer as their VP & Chief Financial Officer of Environmental Health. Robert oversaw a finance team for the company's $1.2 billion business group focused on the environmental health markets. During their time at PerkinElmer, Buckley gained a reputation as a skilled finance executive with a keen ability to provide business analysis and financial leadership.

In 2011, Buckley left PerkinElmer to join Novanta as their Chief Financial Officer. Robert has been with the company ever since, playing an integral role in their continued success.

Robert Buckley has a Master of Business Administration from both UCLA Anderson School of Management and National University of Singapore. Robert's undergraduate degree is in finance from Manhattanville College.

Robert Buckley reports to Matthijs Glastra, CEO. Robert Buckley works with Leane Sinicki - Group President, Precision Motion, Heinrich Dreyer - Group President, Minimally Invasive Surgery, and Brian Young - Chief Human Resources Officer.
