Bridget Stuart

Bridget Stuart, MD PhD, is a seasoned physician scientist currently serving as Director of Translational Medicine Discovery and Profiling at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research since October 2015, with prior roles including Director and Associate Director of Medical Science Liaison and Medical Science Liaison in the Respiratory Division. Bridget's academic background includes an Assistant Professorship in Pediatric Respiratory Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern, focusing on children with pulmonary hypertension from September 2012 to September 2015. Prior experience also includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at Johns Hopkins Hospital and a Pediatric Hospitalist role at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital, where comprehensive care was provided to medically fragile and complex pediatric patients. Bridget holds an MD and PhD in Medicine, Genetics, and Development from UT Southwestern Medical Center, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Randolph-Macon College.
