Marcus Andreotti has extensive work experience in the field of research and development of algorithms, hardware, and software for academic and contractual purposes. Marcus has held various senior positions in different companies, including NovAtel Inc., Nottingham Geospatial Institute, University of Canterbury, Geospatial Research Centre Christchurch, Geospatial Research Centre (NZ) Ltd, Nottingham Scientific Ltd, and Perkons Equipamentos. In these roles, Marcus has been responsible for leading research teams, developing and implementing proprietary hardware/software packages, providing system engineering expertise, conducting research for technology readiness, and supervising PhD students. Marcus has also authored scientific papers for conferences and journals and participated in conferences. Marcus has a strong background in navigation engineering and has particularly focused on the development of Intelligent Transportation System products.

Marcus Andreotti has a strong educational background with a focus on technology and engineering. Marcus began their education in 1992 at the Federal University of Technology - Parana, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 1997. Marcus then continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science - Artificial Intelligence from 1999 to 2001. Marcus further pursued their academic career at the University of Nottingham, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) from 2003 to 2007. Through these educational experiences, Marcus has developed expertise in multiple domains, including engineering, computer science, and GNSS technology.
