John C. Jacobs

John C. Jacobs is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as President and CEO of Novavax since January 2023, Jacobs previously held similar positions at Harmony Biosciences, LLC from October 2017 to January 2023, and has a robust background at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where key roles included SVP and General Manager of the U.S. Respiratory Business Unit. Prior to this, Jacobs contributed to Cephalon and Pfizer in various marketing and sales leadership positions, particularly within the Central Nervous System (CNS) division. Jacobs holds an MBA in Marketing from Binghamton University and has completed executive education courses at McGill University and The Wharton School.
