Robert Walker is a seasoned medical professional, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Novavax since 2023. They previously held the position of Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Medical Officer at Novavax and have extensive experience in leadership roles, including Chief Medical Officer at Nuron Biotech Inc and Meissa Vaccines. Walker's career includes significant tenures at NIAID and the National Institutes of Health, as well as at MedImmune and BARDA, where they eventually became the Chief Medical Officer and Director of Clinical Development. They obtained a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed advanced training in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
