Jorge Martinez

Sr Facilites Engineer at Noven

Jorge Martinez has a comprehensive work experience in engineering, with a focus on electrical controls and automation. Jorge began their career in 1996 as an Electrical Engineer at Apex Machine Co. From 1997 to 2001, they served as an Electrical Conversions Engineer at R.A. Jones & Co., where their responsibilities included designing electrical control systems and PLC programming for packaging equipment.

In 2001, Jorge joined Asea Brown Boveri (Pvt.) Ltd. as a Senior Designer, where they designed electrical control systems for high voltage power generation stations and substations. Jorge also conducted software testing, provided field support, and updated operations and maintenance manuals.

In 2004, they joined Johnson and Johnson Company as a Senior Facilities Engineer, managing departmental budget projections, capital budget, and overseeing projects. Jorge also managed the Calibration and Maintenance Departments. This role lasted until 2012.

From 2013 to 2016, Jorge worked as an Electrical Controls Engineer at Consolidated Water, providing support for the construction of Sea Water Reverse Osmosis Desalination Facilities in the Caribbean Region. Jorge was responsible for various engineering tasks, including preparing process and instrumentation diagrams, electrical equipment specifications, and construction documents.

Starting in 2017, Jorge joined ADMA Biologics, Inc. as an Electrical Automation Engineer. Jorge reported directly to the VP of Engineering and was responsible for integrating, maintaining, and managing process and building automation systems on-site. Jorge also identified gaps in the automation/electrical controls department and implemented resolutions. Jorge'stime at ADMA Biologics, Inc. lasted until 2021.

Following that, they joined AXI International in 2019 as a Senior Electrical Controls and Automation Engineer, where they applied their expertise in electrical controls and automation.

Currently, Jorge holds the position of Sr. Facilities Engineer at Noven Pharmaceuticals, which they started in 2021.

Jorge Martinez obtained their high school diploma from Liceo Militar Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho, where they studied science from 1982 to 1987. Following this, they pursued higher education at The University of Memphis from 1988 to 1991. At the university, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Computer Sciences.
