Novi Opes is an Illinois-based initiative dedicated to equipping immigrant communities with the practical knowledge and financial tools they need to thrive in the United States.

Navigating a new financial system can be overwhelming. To bridge this gap, we partner directly with local non-profits, welcoming centers, and community organizations to deliver pro-bono, hands-on educational workshops tailored specifically for newcomers.

Rather than relying on standard lectures, our interactive sessions focus on actionable, everyday life skills. We bring all the necessary presentation materials and seamlessly integrate into your organization's existing programming to cover critical topics, including:

• Navigating the US banking system and building credit safely
• Understanding 2026 tax updates and how they impact workers
• Securing safe housing and understanding renter's rights
• Identifying and avoiding modern predatory lending practices

At Novi Opes, we believe that practical financial literacy is the foundation of a secure and successful transition. By empowering individuals with the right tools, we help build stronger, more resilient communities across Illinois.

If your organization is looking to add comprehensive, fully-funded financial education to your community programming, we would love to connect.
