Saving the Climate with Profitable and Stable Ocean Energy

🌊 One solution, two global crises.
By 2040, over 40% of the world will face high water stress — while demand for stable, low-emission power surges. The Medi Wave 850H meets both needs in one modular unit.

Why it matters:

✔ Lower cost:
Up to 40–50% lower CAPEX and LCOE than offshore wind.
Only 1/3 the structural weight of fixed wind, 1/6 of floating — per MW.

✔ Higher output:
Double the energy output per sea area compared to offshore wind due to the hybrid logic.
Delivers 800–1000 kW, scaling to 3 & 5 MW, with 30–60% capacity factor.

✔ Hybrid logic:
Combines three renewables in one platform — wave, wind, solar — using a shared structure, mooring, subsea cable, and permitting.
This improves uptime, reduces intermittency, lowers infrastructure and storage costs.

✔ Water & energy:
Each unit can desalinate up to 70,000 liters/hour, and/or producing clean energy — with no noise, no harm to sea life, and minimal visual impact, even near shore.

✔ Proven & scalable:
52 approved patents on all continents | 800+ hours of third-party modeling
Design life 50+ years | Local manufacturing + licensing

NoviOcean’s Alta Wave model remains available for high-energy regions, but our focus is now on the Medi Wave 850H, for more moderate wave conditions, where the global demand is strongest.

🏆 Awards: Won five out five innovation competitions where we participated:
Shenzhen Innovation & Entrepreneurship | Mission Innovation Champion | Startup4Climate | Propeller Prize | Innovator of the Year

🌍 Now preparing for global rollout through Turnkey, JV, License and BOO/BOOT models. Target sectors include islands, ports, offshore wind parks, hydrogen production, desalination, and fragile coastal grids.
