Mélanie Gilbert has a background in talent acquisition and recruiting in the IT industry. Mélanie began their career in 2012 as a Conseillère en recrutement TI at OS4 Techno, where they were responsible for hiring IT professionals and managing the full recruitment process. Mélanie analyzed CVs, conducted interviews, prepared contracts, and onboarded new employees. Mélanie also handled HR-related questions from employees and participated in career events and job fairs. From 2012 to 2014, Mélanie worked as a Conseillère principale en recrutement TI at Informatique ProContact, where they continued their recruiting work for clients in the Montreal region. Mélanie liaised with clients and the director of the IT recruitment department, ensured understanding of recruitment requirements, and implemented recruitment strategies. Mélanie also negotiated salaries and other employment conditions, and obtained commitment from candidates. In 2014, Mélanie joined NOVIPRO as a Talent Acquisition Manager, where they are currently employed.

Mélanie Gilbert has a bachelor's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and Spanish as a Foreign Language from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. Prior to that, they attended the École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM), where they studied Human Resources and Services Management until 2011.
