Ron Thompson is a seasoned professional in the fields of pipeline integrity and nondestructive testing, currently serving as the President and Owner of Thompson Testing Technologies Ltd. since 2000. In addition to this role, Thompson is the Founder and President of Novitech Inc. since June 2015 and previously held the position of Manager of AFI Technology at Baker Hughes from 2011 to 2015, overseeing product development. Prior experience includes founding and leading Intratech Inline Inspection Services, where responsibilities encompassed operations, sales, marketing, and technology development for inline inspection tools from 2001 to 2011. Thompson's career began with roles at Pipetronix, Acuren, Trow Consulting Engineers, and Standard Tube Ltd. after obtaining a Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering Technology with a focus on Non-Destructive Testing from Fleming College, and ongoing studies at Ryerson University.
