Zane Mersich

Zane Mersich is the Chief Executive Officer at Novomatic UK, bringing 25 years of extensive experience in business management, strategy, sales, marketing, and development within international organizations. Zane's expertise includes profit-driven strategies, general and financial management, negotiation, and team-building, with a strong track record in turning around underperforming companies. Since 2008, Zane has played a pivotal role in the growth of Novomatic UK, expanding the group to nine companies and 3,600 employees, and focusing on both product design/manufacture and gaming operations. Zane’s experience also includes significant deal-making and integration of companies to achieve profitable growth, culminating in the strategic sale of several Gaming Technology Companies in 2019. Additional responsibilities have included a recent appointment to the Supervisory Board of Novomatic Netherlands. Academic qualifications comprise a BComm in Business Economics from the University of Pretoria and an (Hons) BComm in Business Management/Strategy from the University of South Africa.
