Peter Steffensen

Peter Steffensen is an experienced research professional with a background in analytical chemistry and catalyst development. Currently serving as a TS Research Associate at Novonesis since April 2025, Peter previously worked at Umicore as a Research Engineer, focusing on the research and development of SCR (DeNOx) catalysts. Past roles include positions as a Laboratory Technician at Nycomed, where responsibilities involved pharmacopeia analysis under GMP, and research positions at Haldor Topsoe A/S, developing automotive SCR catalysts. Early career experience includes various laborant roles at companies such as FLSmidth, Brenntag Biosector, and Pharmacosmos, where analytical work and quality control were key functions. Peter holds a Diploma of Engineering in Biotechnology, Process Technology, and Chemistry from the University of Southern Denmark and a KVU Laborant degree from Slagteriskolen.
