Sumit Saha

Sumit Saha currently serves as the Business Development Manager for the Middle East, India, and Africa at Novonesis since February 2024. Prior to this role, Sumit has been with Chr. Hansen since February 2018, where responsibilities include Business Development and Marketing Manager for India, focusing on the applications of fermentation in the food and beverage industry, and a Regional Sales Manager, driving sales of food cultures and enzymes. Previous experience includes Business Development Manager positions at AVI Global Plast Pvt. Ltd. and Printpack, concentrating on food packaging solutions, and a substantial tenure at Amul (GCMMF) in various capacities from Executive to Technical Officer, emphasizing productivity enhancement and process excellence in dairy manufacturing. Sumit holds an MBA from the Institute of Rural Management Anand and a B.Tech in Dairy Technology from the West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences.
