Mitchell was a founding partner of Paine Schwartz Partners (formerly Paine & Partners), a leading U.S. private equity firm managing a $1.2 billion fund focused on investing in food and agriculture. He is co-chair of Morrison & Foerster’s Global Corporate Department of over 400 lawyers, where he concentrates on private equity transactions, applying his vast experience, as both a lawyer and a principal. Mitchell is a faculty member and lecturer of law at Harvard Law School and Columbia Law School. He has served as member of the Board of Directors for privately-held and public companies.
