Rob Thorpe is a Senior Data Engineer at NOW: Pensions since October 2020. Prior to this, Rob was a Director at Fortitude Computing Limited from March 2015 to January 2021 and a Senior Developer at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions from December 2017 to August 2020, where Rob worked on the Ultimate Value Management system.Rob has experience in Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment processes, coding standards, code reviews, and Agile methodologies. Rob also has a background in international consultancy projects focused on Microgen Accounting Hub implementations in various financial institutions. Furthermore, Rob took a Sabbatical from September 2014 to May 2015 to travel and explore different cultures in East Asia, Australasia, and Southern Asia.
