Nick Urbom has a diverse work experience spanning various leadership roles. In 2009, they served as Vice President of Operations & Awards at the International 3D Society until 2012. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as Senior Vice President at The Advanced Imaging Society. In 2012, they also became the CEO of Big Push Media Group. In 2017, they founded Infinity Festival and served as the Chairman & CEO until 2020, successfully guiding the company to profitability. In 2020, they founded Nowbase and currently serves as the Founder & CEO. Recently, in 2023, Nick became a board member with the Mass St. Collective, overseeing the Revenue Generation subcommittee for Name, Image & Likeness opportunities for KU Student Athletes. Overall, Nick's experience showcases their leadership skills and ability to drive growth and profitability in various organizations.
Nick Urbom's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance with a specialization in Percussion Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, which was completed between 2000 and 2004. Prior to that, they attended DePaul University in 1999 and pursued a field of study in Percussion Performance. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Legal Studies with a focus on Business Law at the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law, which they started in 2023.
