Ben Corbitt

Ben Corbitt has worked in a variety of roles in the security and technology fields. Ben began their career in 2010 as a Web Developer for the South Shelby Chamber of Commerce, where they built and maintained the company website using HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript. In 2012, they became a Malware Analyst at the Center for Information Assurance and Joint Forensics Research. Ben then moved to Regions Financial Corporation in 2015, where they served as an Information Security Engineer. In 2019, they joined BBVA in the USA as a Senior Information Technology Security Analyst. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Security Analyst at PNC, and in 2022 they began working as an Application Security Analyst at NowSecure.

Ben Corbitt holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics from the University of Montevallo, which they obtained between 2007 and 2011. Ben also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which they obtained between 2012 and 2014. Additionally, Ben Corbitt holds three certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and GIAC Certifications: Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, GIAC Mobile Device Security Analyst (GMOB), and GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT).
