Matthew Conrad

Matthew Conrad has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Matthew is currently employed at Nowsta as a Frontend Developer, starting in June 2021. Previously, they worked at Nationwide as a Senior Developer from July 2018 to June 2021. At Nationwide, they primarily focused on front-end development and worked on the customer service chatbot, NORA, using TypeScript, Microsoft Bot Framework, and React. Before that, Matthew was a Software Engineer at Verizon Wireless from June 2016 to July 2018. Matthew worked on the company's Intranet & Knowledge Management Systems, utilizing web-focused languages and frameworks such as PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, ASP.NET, and ExtJS. Matthew also gained experience as a Student Intern at Verizon Wireless from June 2014 to May 2016, where they continued to work part-time throughout the school year. Matthew's work experience also includes a role as a Teaching Assistant at The Ohio State University, where they assisted in teaching Software II: Development & Design and graded Java homework and projects.
