Jay Simms

Jay Simms is an experienced talent acquisition and resourcing professional with a significant track record in transforming recruitment strategies across various sectors. As the Head of Talent Acquisition at NP Aerospace since October 2022, Jay has successfully shifted the organization from reliance on agency recruitment to an efficient in-house system, overseeing the recruitment of over 100 roles in multiple countries. Prior to this, Jay served as Head of Resourcing at the Defence Infrastructure Organisation from October 2015 to September 2022, managing a team that handled over 1,500 global recruitment campaigns annually. Notable achievements include the introduction of enhanced recruitment services that significantly reduced time-to-hire and costs. Jay's earlier experience at The Insolvency Service included leading HR policy and resourcing initiatives and managing a team in casework. Jay holds a CIPD qualification in Human Resources Management.
