Mark-Jan Werner

Mark-Jan Werner serves as the Compliance & Head of Listing at NPEX since August 2018, overseeing compliance matters for an investment firm specializing in facilitating small to medium-sized companies in the Netherlands with initial public offerings and other financing options. Previously, Mark-Jan held the position of Compliance Officer at NIBC Bank, where responsibilities included compliance across multiple business departments and contributing to the implementation of MiFID II. Additional experience encompasses legal and compliance roles at SNS Securities, marketing at OGD ict-diensten, and internships in legal services at Deloitte Nederland and De Nederlandsche Bank. Mark-Jan holds an LL.M. in International and European Tax Law from the University of Amsterdam, along with multiple qualifications in compliance and investments from NIBE-SVV Opleidingen, and degrees in Corporate Law and Law from Leiden University.
