Yu Qiu

Yu Qiu is a Mechanical Engineer at NPIC, where responsibilities include the independent development of small and medium-sized non-standard equipment for special production processes, resulting in improved output by 200–300% and a significant reduction in operator injury rates since June 2019. Prior experience includes a role at Oregon State University's Robotic Grasping Lab, where Yu Qiu designed a fully actuated robotic hand for grasping strategies research, and internships at Nanchang Kaima Co., Ltd., and Dongfeng Motor Corporation Technical Center, gaining hands-on knowledge in energy storage, engine performance, and production processes. Yu Qiu holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanchang University.
