Michael Sparks is the Sr. Director of Global Sales at NPK International, where they lead efforts in the composite access mat industry following the company's rebranding in December 2024. With over 25 years of experience with the DURA-BASE Composite Mat product line, they have specialized in wetland access and environmental impact minimization for various sectors, including power transmission and oil & gas. Prior to their current role, Sparks held the position of VP of Sales & Marketing in the Newpark SOLOCO Division from 2004 to 2007 and served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Historical Foundation from 2009 to 2021. They are currently pursuing their education at the University of Houston.
