Eric Commodore

Eric Commodore is a seasoned meetings industry executive with extensive experience in event planning and management. Since January 2008, Eric has served as Director of Meeting & Event Planning at NRECA, overseeing multi-million-dollar budgets and leading teams of over seven individuals. Prior to this role, Eric was a Senior Advisor in Meeting & Event Planning at NRECA from 2008 to 2015, where responsibilities included developing event specifications for major meetings and mentoring junior team members. Before joining NRECA, Eric worked at the Edison Electric Institute as a Meeting Planner, managing logistics for events with up to 1,500 attendees. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Columbia Union College and further education from The George Washington University.
