Markjan de Jong

Markjan de Jong has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Markjan began their career in 2001 at Technology Team, Inc./Secure Dog Hosting as a Senior Network Engineer, where they worked until 2005. Markjan then joined AOL, Inc. as a Senior Linux Administrator for a year before moving on to Sunrocket as a Security Engineer. In 2007, they joined TEOCO, Inc. as a Senior Systems Security Engineer, where they worked for eight years. In 2015, they joined NRECA as a Principal Security Representative and later became Manager of Infrastructure Automation. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Infrastructure Automation Engineer at NRECA.

From 1992 to 1996, Markjan de Jong pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany/Plant Biology at George Mason University.
