Michael Leitman

Michael Leitman has a diverse work experience that includes various roles in different organizations. Michael started their career as a Capitol Hill Office Administrator at NRECA in September 2007, where they provided administrative support for the Government Relations staff. Michael then worked as an Economic Analyst from January 2008 until September 2014, before transitioning to the role of Strategic Analyst until October 2018. From October 2018 to March 2021, Michael served as a Senior Analyst in Economics & Business. Currently, they hold the position of Director of System Optimization at NRECA, starting in March 2021. Prior to joining NRECA, they worked as a Paralegal Document Manager at Pierce, Herns, Sloan & McLeod, LLC, from January 2005 to June 2006, where they provided administrative support to attorneys.

Michael Leitman earned a BA in Political Science and History from the College of Charleston in 2004. Michael then went on to obtain an MSc in Public Policy and Administration from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2007.
