Ryan Burchard

Ryan Burchard has extensive work experience in various roles within the software and application development field. Ryan currently holds the position of Principal Software Developer at NRECA since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Principal Application Developer at NRECA from April 2018 to July 2022. Before that, they worked as a Sr. Application Developer Representative at NRECA from February 2007 to April 2018, providing analyst/programmer support for the 401(k) Pension Plan. Ryan also has experience as an Owner at Horizon Technology, Inc. from March 2006 onwards. Ryan started their career as a BSSI Technical Consultant for Medicaid at the State of Nebraska from December 1998 to March 2006. Prior to that, Ryan worked as an Analyst/Programmer II at Ameritas from September 1996 to December 1998.

Ryan Burchard holds a BS degree in Information Services Management from Doane University. Ryan also has a background in Information Technology from Gateway College. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, and Object Oriented Development in Java from the University of Nebraska - Omaha.
