Will Mitchell

Will Mitchell serves as the Legislative Affairs Director for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association since February 2023, focusing on clean energy and energy efficiency policies. Previously, Mitchell held various roles in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2013 to 2023, including Legislative Director, Legislative Assistant, and Legislative Correspondent. Additionally, Mitchell has a background in political research as a Research Intern at New Partners, and gained experience in government affairs at Lockridge Grindal Nauen. As a freelance photographer and writer for The Midwest Perspective since 2009, Mitchell contributes to a collaborative portfolio website. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Global Studies and Spanish from the University of Minnesota, completed in 2009.
