Eric Baanstra has extensive experience in the maritime and energy sectors, having worked with prominent companies such as Maersk Line, USG Energy, Paragon Offshore, and NRG. Beginning as a 4th Maritime Officer and Dual Trainee at Maersk Line in 2009, Eric transitioned to various roles, including Mechanical Operator on the K15FB1 NAM/Shell gas production platform and Ballast Control Operator at Paragon Offshore. Eric further advanced in career as a Process Operator High Flux Reactor and Plaatsvervangend Hoofd van de Wacht at NRG. Additionally, Eric has held positions as 3rd Mate with JR Shipping and Chief Mate with Baggerbedrijf de Boer B.V. Eric holds a Bachelor of Maritime Operations degree from Maritiem Instituut Willem Barentsz.
