Peter Luijten is the CEO of NRG PALLAS. They held the position of Professor of Functional Medical Imaging at UMC Utrecht from 2005 to 2024. They have held leadership roles including Chairman of the Division of Imaging and Oncology at Universitair Medisch Centrum Utrecht (2017-2020), Chief Scientific Officer at the Center for Translational Molecular Medicine (2008-2016) and at Lygature (2016-2020), and Lead Guitarist at ZADD (2012-2020). They also served as Vice-dean Utrecht Life Sciences at Utrecht University (2020-2024) and earned PhDs in NMR from UC San Diego's School of Extended Studies and Public Programs (1981-1982) and in Physical Chemistry from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (1972-1984).
