Rens Groot is currently a Senior QRT-Medewerker at NRG, having started in this role in October 2021 after serving as a student intern at Veiligheidsregio Noord-Holland Noord. Rens completed a degree in Integrale Veiligheidskunde at Hogeschool Utrecht in 2022 and has been a firefighter since May 2017. Rens began working with the Quick Response Team of NRG shortly after completing training as a firefighter.
