John Lee

John Lee has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. John started their career as a Senior IT Engineer at Japan Airlines in 1998 and later worked as a Senior IT Manager at SUMCO from 1999 to 2010, where they led EDI and SAP application development. John then joined IIJ Europe as a Business Development Manager from 2013 to 2017, engaging in cloud infrastructure projects and developing new business opportunities. John then worked as a Business Development Account Manager at Intralink in 2017, where they developed and executed sales strategies for western companies targeting new markets in East Asia. John further gained experience as a Project Manager at MUFG from 2018 to 2020, managing the Desktop Application Transformation program within the EMEA region. Currently, John is serving as the Head of Financial IT Solutions and VP at NRI (Nomura Research Institute), providing IT consulting and solutions to financial institutions in various EU regions.

John Lee attended the University of London from 2003 to 2006, where they pursued a degree in IT, specifically in the field of Computer Science. Prior to that, they studied at Bedstone College in Shropshire between 1989 and 1994, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown. In terms of additional certifications, John obtained their Prince 2 certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in May 2019, and obtained MSP® Certifications from the same institution in 2020.
