John Stewart

John Stewart is currently the Deputy Director of Policy and Research at the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA), a position held since 2020. From 2014 to 2020, they served as Policy Manager at the Residential Landlords Association. Prior to that, John was a Council Leader and Councillor at Aberdeen City Council from 2009 to 2011, and an Assistant to Sir Robert Smith Bt MP from 1997 to 2007. They also held the role of Chief Executive at Manchester Pride from 2012 to 2013. John earned a Master of Arts in Church History and Politics from the University of Aberdeen, graduating with honors in 1996.
