Laura Markley

Laura Markley is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Board Observer at Farmer Focus since November 2019, Markley oversees the financial strategies of the company, which specializes in organic and clean-label chicken products. In addition, Markley is the Managing Director/General Partner and CFO at NRV, a venture capital firm based in Richmond, Virginia, since August 2013. Markley's board involvement extends to several NRV portfolio companies, including Murphy's Naturals, Iron Sheepdog, WealthForge, Red's All Natural, Beanfields, Moonlighting, and Health Warrior Superfoods. With a strong educational background that includes an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Masters of Accounting from William & Mary, Markley's expertise encompasses investment management and corporate philanthropy from previous roles at Ziff Brothers Investments.
