Esther Han

Esther Han is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in digital and print media. Currently serving as the Digital Engagement Editor at The Australian Financial Review since May 2024, Esther previously held various editorial roles at The Sydney Morning Herald from January 2012 to May 2024, including Homepage Editor, Overnight Homepage Editor in New York City, State Political Reporter, Health Reporter, Consumer Affairs Editor, and Food and Wine Writer. Earlier career experiences include working as a News Operations Assistant at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and as a reporter for 2SER 107.3 Community Radio. Esther holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Journalism) and International Studies (China) from the University of Technology Sydney, and has also studied at Shanghai University.
