Tim Mackay is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Principal and Head of Strategy at Quantum Financial Services Australia since 2005, Tim is also a contributing opinion writer for The Australian Financial Review and a member of the Policy and Regulation Committee at the Financial Planning Association of Australia. Tim has previously held positions as a finance columnist for various publications, including Acuity Magazine and Charter Magazine. Formerly with Deutsche Bank as an analyst in London and Sydney, Tim has a strong academic background with multiple finance-related degrees, including an MBA from London Business School and professional qualifications as a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants and Certified Financial Planner. Additional contributions include leadership roles in local commerce and volunteer work with UNICEF.
