Vana Hutter

Vana Hutter is a Senior Researcher at the Netherlands Institute for the Study of Crime and Law Enforcement (NSCR) and an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Behavioral and Movement Sciences at VU University Amsterdam. Holding a Master's and a PhD in Human Movement Sciences and Behavioral Sciences, respectively, Vana's research focuses on optimizing the performance and collaboration of police officers under pressure. With over a decade of experience in research and consulting within the field, Vana has worked closely with police organizations, emphasizing participatory research approaches. Prior to their current roles, Vana engaged in various positions as a researcher and advisor at multiple organizations, including Henk-Jan Zwolle Sportadvisering and EXPOSZ Opleiden in sport en zorg.
